Casino Party… But Where?!

Every so often, clients will book with us for an awesome casino party FIRST and THEN start their search for where it’s actually going to be.
The question we often get is, ‘Do you have any suggestions?’

The answer is: Of course we do! We’ve been all over Huntsville and Madison and have dealt cards in all sorts of spaces, big and small! We’ve been in some Huntsville venues so many times we’ve gone there to pick up our mail.

In no particular order, here’s a list of 17 Huntsville venues where we’ve had the pleasure of hosting quite a few casino parties!

Stovehouse
Stovehouse has several options for hosting your casino party: The Royal Room is their largest and the second largest space, the Belle, is right behind it. Both are great and if your event is REALLY big, consider renting BOTH rooms! You could have a casino party in one room and a DJ and food in the other! They also have The Shed which is a kind of indoor/outdoor space and The Canteen, too.

The Orion Amphitheater
It’s not just for concerts! The Orion can host events in several of their available spaces:
Under The Dome, on The Stage or even at Jeff & Blues!

Von Braun Center
If you need a LOT of space, the VBC has exactly! Their East Hall has almost 25,000 square feet that can be divided into 3 separate rooms and same goes for the Saturn Ballroom. Their largest space, The South Hall, boasts over 100,000 square feet. These spaces can be carpeted, too! FYI, your guests will probably have to pay to park.

Jackson Center
Tucked away in Research Park, the Jackson Center is a great choice for events. Their Discovery Hall can be divided into two separated spaces and ‘The Pub’ is also a perfect little hideaway, too! It’s its own little speakeasy.

Davidson Center (Saturn V Hall)
Imagine having your casino party UNDER a giant Saturn V rocket. We’ve done that and it so cool! The Davidson Center is easy to find… it’s that huge building right next to that huge rocket on 565 at the Space & Rocket Center. This venue has a ton of room and with all the displays on hand it is perfect for any occasion here in ‘Rocket City.’

The Blind Tiger
Located in downtown Huntsville right next to the Russell Erskine building, this luxury venue can take parties from 20 to 200 people. There is covered parking one block over, too!

Campus 805
It’s not just a brewery! The Stone Event Center (Campus Cafeteria) has almost 8,000 square feet and a small stage, perfect for the DJ, band… or where your high roller poker tables may go! There are also plenty of other businesses in Campus 805 where you could also host a casino party. Campus 805 also has a hidden speakeasy in the very back… IYKYK.

The Event Center at Roto Rooter
Right off of highway 72 (University Drive) and about five minutes west of Research Park, the Event Center has 7,300 square feet of space for parties of all sizes.

Huntsville Marriott, Space & Rocket Center
This hotel has recently gone under a major renovation and may be a best kept secret in Huntsville!

Huntsville Botanical Garden
This venue has quite a few options for events. They have the main ballroom, the Grand Hall, which holds 350 people and overlooks the lake. The Conservatory is attached to it and can be rented separately or along with the Grand Hall. There is also the Carriage House and Nichols Arbor, too. If you wanted your party outside, you can have it at Grisham Pavilion. It’s a great for a summer company picnic and we can provide the outdoor games for it!

The Ledges
It isn’t just for golf and weddings! The Ledges is great for corporate events, birthday parties… you name it!

Huntsville Museum of Art
Located in downtown Huntsville in Big Spring Park, your casino party can overlook Big Spring Lake! The Loretta Spencer Hall is on the ground floor and easily accessible, as is the Maxwell Hall.

The Roundhouse / EarlyWorks Museum
The Roundhouse is separate from the museum and located right next to Veteran’s Park in downtown Huntsville. It will easily hold 400+ people. The Grand Hall is a part of the museum & also has patio access.

Valley Hill Country Club
Located in South Huntsville, not far from the old Grissom High School, VHCC has quite a few rooms for corporate events or Christmas parties. It’s not just for golf! You’ll find rooms for 70 ore more people, plus they have a bar and full kitchen!

The Westin at Bridgestreet
Sitting right off of Research Park in Bridgestreet, the Westin is an excellent choice for a venue. Their Mediterranean Ballroom is HUGE and hosts 800 guests. It can be divided into six smaller rooms, too. The Valencia Ballroom is on the other side of the hall and overlooks the lake at Bridgestreet. You can see a floor diagram here.

Burritt on the Mountain (Baron’s Bluff)
A casino party overlooking all of Huntsville?! Baron’s Bluff (diagram) sits atop Monte Sano and the view can’t be beat! You can contact them here.

Huntsville Country Club
This venue is off of Oakwood, about half a mile from Costco. They have three large rooms that can be rented all together.

Holiday Inn (Research Park, Mid-City)
Right off of University and next to Top Golf, the Holiday Inn’s main ballroom is almost 5,500 square feet and can accommodate up to 500 people.

With new hotels being built all over Huntsville and Madison, this list will only get longer!
