Alabama's Best In Casino-Themed Entertainment!
On March 7, 2026, the Rocket County Rotary Club hosted an exciting casino-themed fundraiser at The Beer Hog in Madison, Alabama, bringing together more than 100 guests for a night of gaming, community, and philanthropy. The event, titled “High Stakes for Vision,” supported the global mission of We Cure Blindness, an organization dedicated to restoring sight and providing critical eye care in Honduras.
From the moment guests walked through the doors, the energy in the room was unmistakable. The Beer Hog—already known locally for hosting regular poker tournaments—transformed into a lively casino floor packed with enthusiastic players ready to test their luck.
Casino Knight provided 11 professional casino tables and two slot machines, giving guests plenty of opportunities to play throughout the evening. The lineup included blackjack, roulette, poker-style games, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em, which quickly became a crowd favorite.
One of the biggest attractions of the night was the 12-foot craps table, which stayed busy from start to finish. The cheers and excitement around the table made it one of the most animated spots in the room. Meanwhile, the blackjack tables were packed to capacity, with players lining up to try their hand at beating the dealer.
The event drew well over 100 attendees, and the community showed strong support for the cause. In fact, the Rotary Club raised more than $3,000 in ticket sales at the door alone, a strong contribution toward funding vision care and blindness prevention efforts in Honduras.
Fundraisers like this demonstrate why casino night events are such an effective way for nonprofits and service organizations to raise money. The games create a fun, social environment where guests can interact, compete, and support a cause at the same time.
